Musculoskeletal Medicine, P.C. is an independent physician practice in Syracuse that treats musculoskeletal pain problems and injuries. The practice has been serving the local area since 2001 and specializes in nonsurgical injection procedures designed to reduce pain, promote healing, and improve stability in injured connective tissues and musculoskeletal structures.
The practice is led by Dr. John F. Finkenstadt, who has more than 30 years of experience treating musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Finkenstadt is a board-certified family physician with additional certification in sports medicine, a former President of the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine, and completed his family practice residency at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. The practice focuses on regenerative and nonsurgical approaches to musculoskeletal pain management.

• Prolotherapy — nonsurgical injection procedure to strengthen and heal injured connective tissue, reduce pain, and improve stability • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments — regenerative injection treatment using growth factors from the patient's own platelets to promote healing of injured musculoskeletal structures • Prolozone — injection procedure combining prolotherapy principles with ozone • Sacroiliac stabilization — treatment for sacroiliac joint issues • Perineural injections — injections targeting nerve-related pain
